Donna Musselwhite, LMHC, LPCC, NCC

I’ve spent over 35 years as a therapist, which basically means I’ve heard it all—twice—and very little makes me clutch my pearls anymore. I bring that experience (plus a well-timed sense of humor and just enough side-eye) into my work with teens (13+), adults, families, and older adults.
I also work closely with grief and loss, and I don’t tiptoe around the hard stuff. When life gets heavy, we’re not pretending it’s fine—we’re walking straight into it, together. I’ve also worked with veterans, active duty, and military families, so I understand the unique layers that come with that life.
I’m the kind of therapist who will sit with you in the mess, celebrate your wins like they actually matter (because they do), and gently—but very clearly—call you out when you’re getting in your own way. Therapy with me isn’t stiff, overly polished, or full of “mm-hmm” head nods. It’s real, engaging, and occasionally a little blunt—in the way that actually helps you grow.
If you’re looking for someone to smile and agree with everything you say, I’m probably not your person. But if you want honest conversations, meaningful progress, and a therapist who can balance compassion with a well-placed reality check, we’ll get along just fine.
